This time last year the housing market was near or above a recent peak in values nationally (and particularly in the high growth state of Texas), and most property owners were bracing for an inevitable hike in their property tax bill. Per our recent dialogue with one of our strategic property tax protest advisors, we thought it would be helpful to pass along some insights so that our clients and our community can make preparations for this year’s appraisals and associated tax bills.
